Old Souls by Tom Shroder

When I first began exploring the concept of past lives and spiritual underpinnings to this idea, I was unsure of what I would find. I wanted a book that was less about spiritual beliefs or religion and more about someone like me, a layperson who was new to the idea.

Old Souls was one of the first books I read on reincarnation. The book follow’s the work of Dr. Ian Stevenson, from a skeptics point of view. The stories from families, children with memories, and photos lent a unique quality to this book. I recommend it to anyone following their curiosity about reincarnation as an introductory piece.

Old souls is a term that has often been used to describe people who feel older than their age and have spiritual gifts. If you are looking for books about gifted individuals or how to use your gifts, this is not the book for you.
